This took aaages to do, a simple piece of audio but Audacity couldn't handle a three hour long file ( understandably!) So here's my chat with Vernon Kay:

Nostalgic eyes
I apologise for not blogging for around 6 ( actually 8 but trying to look professional) months. Work caught up with me, as did a turbulant summer of rent, working world, and general shenanigans.
Yesterday morning, after a night of too much drink, and too little sleep, I texted in radio1, thinking I might get a cheap lol by Vernon Kay reading it out. Instead he decided to phone me back, and I have edited and uploaded the interview. Gonna attatch it in the next post so stand by.
Was a fascinating experience to be called and put out. I knew what to expect, but you speaking to several million listeners without actually knowing more than ten of them was a really surreal experience. I didn't know if people thought I was annoying, fun, boring or anything. I like to think I did okay, and made a bit of an impression. Perhaps his invite to come up to R1 will come to something, though I am kicking myself for not getting his producers email address.
In more nostalgic news, this week I rediscovered Oasis. Slide Away is one of the best songs ever and I can't believe I ever stopped listening to them. I look forward to the inevitable comeback in 2015.
I can't guarantee I'm going to be updating every day, but I do aim to improve the quality of my blog.
I hope all readers are safe and well, I'm now going to watch Dark Knight blu-ray for a few hours so I'll leave everyone with this. It also fits the theme of Nostalgia as its now been 3 years ( HOW THE HELL HAS IT BEEN THREE YEARS) since DK came out. (and yes I know every word) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8pSDdcyKSY
Peace x

Funny bone: recut trailers
Hullo all,
sorry I've not posted in a while. Been busy most evenings - coursework, watching films, you know how it is.
Watched Se7en yesterday and it was mindblowingly awesome! Really good. Also checked out Kick-Ass, Zombieland, and Dead Set, which were all also good.
Anywho, these are some recut trailers. All very funny. :)

Brain: future of video games - innovation
This is going to be a post where I'm not just linking to some internet weirdness. I have some projections on Video Games' future. It's an idea and it's big.
Controllers are getting smarter. Wii remotes, PS Move controllers, even your standard joypad can do a ridiculous amount of things, lots of buttons, gyroscopic capture, motion control, light detection.
Is it so wrong to think that the next BIG thing for controllers is having a more... individual controller? Allow me to explain. When you play any local multiplayer game, all the sound comes out of the TV or any other speakers. You all have to share the same sounds, meaning you can screen watch, or just know where your shots are going.
Imagine if sound came through your controller. Using headphones, it could connect to the player. You could have most of the music, back ground noise, come through the speakers, then more neccessary things for competitive play come out of the controller.
Consoles are getting smarter, and more powerful. Imagine combining the controller sound system, with 3D noise. Suddenly, you have a very very clever controller, and the experience of the user of that controller is like noone elses. I appreciate that it may not work with all controllers - when you're waggling your Wiimote about, headphone yankage could be an issue, but I truly believe that individual controllers are the future. Some companies have already looked into this a little bit...you can use your PSP to play certain PSP and PS3 games on the PS3, meaning your smart individual controller is usable on a console system. This idea needs to be exploited.
Just my idle thoughts, feel free to comment.
